| Tennessee portrays a muleskinner- a very important historical character prior to the railroads. He would haul goods from town to town, earning a living on the haul bill. The term muleskinner means someone who can "skin" or outsmart/train a mule, which he used to pull the wagons that hauled freight.
"Tennessee" John Stewart is a "rogue freighter" who will haul any freight as long as the price is right. Straight from the Civil War period, he portrays a brash muleskinner who will tell tales or as he calls it "handle the truth reckless", help with hangin' those traitors ( as long as he gets their boots) and try to buy, sell or trade the shirt off YOUR back! He will bring his 1850 Webber wagon and mule team- "General" Psycho Sam, and Lightnin' Bud-to haul freight, cannons, and people. On rainy occasions he's even pulled trucks and other vehicles out of the mud! |
